Joel Sill is a music supervisor and publisher for Intermedia Film, a film production company owned by the German company IM Internationalmedia AG. Sill has served as music supervisor for movies such as Twister and Forrest Gump, and has worked closely with film composers James Newton Howard and James Horner.

Joel Sill, an independent music supervisor and publisher, talks about working with composers when supervising a film. He explains that it varies depending on the composer. Some composers like to collaborate and others don't. Also in this segment, Sill discusses having the opportunity to give some composers their big break, such as James Newton Howard and James Horner. He also tells the story of Elliot Goldenthal. Sill predicts that Alexandre Desplat has an incredibly bright future as well.
