Brian Shepard is Assistant Professor of Composition at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School. He is a specialist in pedagogical technology, and as such is heavily involved in leveraging the potential of emerging technologies such as Internet2 to open up new horizons in music education. He is also a working composer who explores the field of interactive, spontaneously composed music expressed through technology and dance.
