Ed Carroll from the California Institute of the Arts talks about teaching a new generation of students and what they have to offer. He explains thast Cal Arts attracts a different type of students. They are students that want to challenge boundaries such as with new world music and technology. Students will play traditional repertoire at Cal Arts which will then help them to take that culture ahead with their own music. Also in this segment, he discusses the endless interdisciplinary opportunities at Cal Arts.
