Ken Cazan
Ken Cazan is Resident stage director and Associate Professor of Vocal Arts and Opera at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music. He has directed more than 120 stage productions of opera, operetta, musical theater and plays throughout North America and Italy, and is renowned for his productions of works by Benjamin Britten, Strauss, Mozart and Handel, among many others. In addition to his teaching work at the Thornton School, Cazan is an in-demand production designer who regularly works with organizations like the Atlanta Opera, the Canadian Opera Company and the Austin Lyric Opera.
