Robert Cutietta is Dean of the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California. An internationally recognized authority on the theory and practice of music education, he is the author of Raising Musical Kids: A Parent's Guide (Oxford University Press, 2001) as well as numerous journal articles. He has been a speaker at every national meeting of MENC (Music Educators’ National Conference) for the last twenty years, and has lectured worldwide on topics related to music education.
