Description: Jazz legend, Phil Woods, gives a saxophone master class at NYU. Afterward, the participating students are interviewed. The students point out that they weren't intimidated. Instead, they look at Phil Woods as a fellow musician - a peer that's older. They also feel that Woods was a good representation of the individuals who grew up with jazz. Communicating while performing is covered as well. It makes the performance more interactive and fun. The students also comment on Woods' stories. Also in this segment, the students discuss music and personality. They share that they are still pushing themselves and working towards matching their music to their personality. Music selection is covered as well.
