Jason Flom is CEO of Capitol Music Group, a subsidiary of EMI created in 2007 by the merger of Virgin Records and Capitol Records. Prior to this post, Flom was Head of Virgin Records, where he arrived from the Atlantic Records Group (Warner Brothers), which he ran until 2005.

In a short question-and-answer session at a meeting of the American Bar Association in 2007, Jason Flom, CEO of Capitol Music Group, discusses so-called “360 deals” and why companies like his are increasingly exploring such contracts as an alternative to traditional record deals. He discusses the advantages to labels and the additional services that artists can receive from participating in a 360 deal.
