Bob Merlis
Bob Merlis is widely known in the music industry for the decades he spent doing extensive publicity work for Warner Bros. Records. In 2001, Bob left his role as Senior VP of Worldwide Corporate Communications at Warner Bros. and began his own consulting business, Merlis For Hire (M.F.H.). Merlis for Hire has worked with many high profile clients like John Mellencamp and ZZ Top. In addition to his entrepreneurial publicity endeavors, Bob holds many other important music-related responsibilities. These responsibilities include: member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominating committee, Blues Foundation board member, and co-founder of the independent blues/roots record label, Memphis International Records.
