Sarah Jane McMahon is an opera singer and former student at Loyola University New Orleans. She is a soprano and has won accolades for roles like Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance) and Galatea (Acis and Galatea). As Galatea, she made her New York City Opera debut in 2006.

Sarah Jane McMahon, an opera singer, discusses how her voice has changed over the years. She explains that she used to sing lighter, higher parts and now her voice has changed so that she sings more bel canto parts and has a fuller, deeper, and darker sound.
