DJ Shortee is one of the world’s most prominent female DJs, and has racked up an impressive string of firsts – the first female DJ to produce an instructional DJ DVD series, the first female DJ endorsed by Shure, the first female DJ to produce a battle record, and more. She is a dedicated teacher of scratch and mixing techniques – in addition to her instructional DVDs, she has taught classes for Run DMC’s Scratch DJ Academy, the GRAMMY Foundation, and the SAE Institute in Los Angeles. She has been releasing solo and joint albums since 1995, and tours regularly worldwide.
