DJ Shortee is one of the world’s most prominent female DJs, and has racked up an impressive string of firsts – the first female DJ to produce an instructional DJ DVD series, the first female DJ endorsed by Shure, the first female DJ to produce a battle record, and more. She is a dedicated teacher of scratch and mixing techniques – in addition to her instructional DVDs, she has taught classes for Run DMC’s Scratch DJ Academy, the GRAMMY Foundation, and the SAE Institute in Los Angeles.
