Geoffrey Schulman has worked on all sides of the record business – in retail, as an artist manager, as an A&R rep, as a radio and marketing director, and as an entrepreneur, for companies like Arista Records, Island Records, A&M Records, as well as his own Agitprop Bureau, an artist management and consulting firm. He currently heads the Commercial Music Management department at Austin Community College.

He also discusses how the changes in the industry over the last forty years have completely altered what is expected of a manager.
