Creating Cohesion When Conducting an Ensemble

Lucinda Carver
Lucinda Carver is Senior Lecturer in Keyboard and Early Music Studies at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California. In addition to her career as a music educator, her career has proceeded along two tracks – as an acclaimed pianist and harpsichordist who has performed on the instruments on stages worldwide, and as a conductor of classical and operatic works. She is former Music Director and Conductor of the Los Angeles Mozart Orchestra, and has conducted ensembles like the Brooklyn Philharmonic, the National Symphony and the Hong Kong Philharmonic.
