Erica Muhl is a Professor of Composition at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California. Her compositions have been commissioned or played by organizations such as Minnesota Opera, Cleveland Chamber Symphony, Italy's Orchestra della RAI, Venezuela's Orquesta Filharmonica Nacional, National Public Radio, and many more. Her music has been featured in festivals worldwide, and she has been the recipient of grants and awards from such organizations as the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the National Endowment for the Arts, and has received the prestigious Whitaker Commissioning Prize. |
