Adam Gilbert is Director of the Early Music Program at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School. One of the world’s leading players of the shawm, he regularly teaches master classes and performs with numerous early music groups in the United States and abroad, and in addition to his teaching duties at USC is an adjunct faculty member at Tilburg Conservatorium in Holland.
