Description:

Tisa Mylar, a manager at the Whisky A GoGo, talks about booking major artists at the Whisky. Mylar explains that the Whisky tries to book as many as they can. However, competing with corporate companies is difficult and the Whisky is often outbid. On the other hand, the major artists sometimes remember the Whisky and come back to continue to build their fan base. Also in this segment, Mylar emphasizes the importance of local bands. Local bands keep clubs going.
