Giora Breil
Giora Breil is the Senior Vice President of the Miami-based independent Latin music label Emusica Entertainment Group. Breil was instrumental in Emusica’s 2005 acquisition of the legendary Fania label catalog, which in the 1960s and 1970s was the home of salsa music, featuring salsa luminaries Rubén Blades, Héctor Lavoé and Willie Colón, as well as Celia Cruz and Tito Puente.

Giora Breil, Senior Vice President of E Musica, discusses his background in the music industry. He explains how he started off in advertising and came to the United States. Giora then talks about his early career and after working in advertising how he began working for Telemundo when it was first started. At Univision he was given a job where he was given the task of getting rid of the inventory of Latin albums and thus became involved in the music industry and developed contacts with various Latin recod labels.
