Description: In this clip from a forum held at a 2007 meeting of the American Bar Association called “Young Lawyer/Law Student Orientation - Your Questions Answered,” the panelists respond to an audience question from a 3L who has not yet taken a labor law course but wants to get into sports law. They advise him in how best to get labor and employment law experience – whether in or outside the classroom – that will prepare him for a career in this field. They then expand the discussion to address the issue of whether law school actually prepares someone for a career in law, and how to go about getting the necessary experience and insight that such a career demands.
