Production is any work that is done to create sound or music as all or part of a product. Sound or music production goes into literally thousands of products each year. Examples would cover the music found on the latest CDs on the charts, the creepy sound effects on a scary movie, the live extravaganza staged in Las Vegas, a festival such as OzzFest, or the music cues for a TV show like South Park or the Simpsons.
