Patricia Shehan Campbell is Donald E. Peterson Professor of Music at the University of Washington. She is a specialist in children’s music education, ethnomusicology, and the pedagogy of world music, and has written numerous books on these subjects. Campbell serves as a member of the advisory boards of Smithsonian Folkways/Global Sound as well as American Routes (a radio program), and delivers lectures and clinics worldwide.
