As one of the inventors of the electronic drum pad, the MIDI standard, and the PC-readable audio compact disc, David Kusek has done as much as anyone to shape the state of the art of electronic and recorded music today. An Associate Professor at the Berklee College of Music, Kusek runs the Berklee Press and is one of the developers of Berkleemusic.com, the College’s online and interactive-learning initiative. He is currently writing a book on the “future of the music business.â€
